Carl is the Director of Eboracum Security Ltd and joint director of Eboracum Training Ltd. Carl started working in the Security Industry in 2005 for a private security company. From 2006, he served as a Special Constable for North Yorkshire Police where he developed strong relationships with others in the security industry, local businesses and members of the public. This role also allowed him to develop inter-personal skills and have a very real insight into Policing. Carl also worked for a very reputable fashion company where he specialised in Loss Prevention which encompassed all causes of loss and crime. In 2011, Carl founded Eboracum Security as a Sole Trader. With the help, support and encouragement of family, frends and colleagues the business has steadily grown and has now incorporated into a limited company.Carl is the chairperson for York Business Against Crime (YBAC) As part of the development of the business, and to pass on experience and knowledge, Carl became a Security Instructor and now also delivers Security Courses to those who want to obtain an SIA License.
Chris has 30 years experience under his belt as a police officer with 15 years of that training a full spectrum of legislation with expertise in personal safety, specialist equipment use & tactics, first aid, manual handling and course tutoring for initial training. He wrote the Force policy on “safe working around water” and also the Force policy on First Aid. From 2006 was primarily responsible for Coaching and mentoring individuals through initial two year probationary period and recording and evidencing progression and balanced this with training, design and also maintained an operational capability being called upon for major events and Force operation initiatives. He was Police support unit trained officer, medic and driver for 23 years and a CBRN officer for four years. Whilst in training department taught the safe use of taser to the Nationally accredited standard, trained Ministry of Defence Police stationed within North Yorkshire. Chris also sat on the ACPO led First Aid Forum for national guidance relating to first aid, firearms medics and PSU medics. A seasoned team player away from work having played rugby union and league at various standards through the years for both Police and several clubs, spent the last 10 years coaching and playing at Pocklington with junior and senior sides ending last season successfully as champions of a merit league and play off final appearance.
